How to PURGE The RDS Program From The HP
1. Turn the HP on.
2. Press the green right shift key and the TIC key (has HOME written above it in green).
3. Press the white key that corresponds to RDS.
4. Press the white key that corresponds to REC.
NOTE: If you have any serial numbers in this directory, go to step 5. If you do not have any serial numbers, go to step 14.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
6. Press the green right shift key and the VAR key (top row of black buttons). The screen should change and objects in {HOME RDS} should be across the top of the screen.
7. Highlight REC.
8. Press the white key that corresponds to CHK.
9. Press the white key that corresponds to COPY.
10. When the screen changes press the white key that corresponds to CHOOS.
11. When the screen changes, arrow up to HOME and press the white key for OK.
12. When the screen changes and the word HOME is inside the blue highlight bar, press the white OK key.
13. The screen will go back to objects in {HOME RDS}. Press the NXT key (top right), then press CANCL.
NOTE: Steps 5 thru 13 will prevent you form losing data.
14. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
15. Press the NXT key.
16. Press the white key for UTILS.
17. Press the ALPHA key twice (located above the left shift purple key). The ALPHA character should appear at the top center of the screen.
NOTE: The top half of the keypad has the alphabet at the bottom right corner of each key.
18. Type in the letters VARS and press the ENTER key.
19. Press the purple left shift key and the EEX key (has the word PURG written above it in purple). This should delete all the files from this directory.
20. Repeat steps 2 thru 4.
21. Repeat steps 17 thru 19.
22. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
23. Repeat steps 17 thru 19.
24. Repeat step 2.
25. Press the TIC key (has the word HOME written above it in green).
