I am receiving odd characters as a serial number on my Palm™ handheld. If you are receiving odd characters for a serial # when using your Palm™ handheld, it is because a Hotsync® operation was initiated while connected to the Ecotone™ Water Level Monitor. This problem is resolved by removing a battery from the water level monitor and waiting 5 seconds. Re-insert the battery and perform the Ecotone™ handheld software functions again. The water level data and configuration data will be retained in memory while the batteries are removed. NOTE: All odd serial number's should be deleted from the handheld before performing a Hotsync® operation. |

I am running Win2000 and my data will not transfer from my Palm™ handheld to the PC. This issue requires advanced technical support. Please see the technical support link and contact a technical support person. |
