How to Copy the RDS Program From one HP to Another HP
1. Turn the source HP on.
2. Press green right shift key then the TIC key (this key has HOME written
above it in green) this will take you to the {HOME} directory.
3. Press the green right shift key then the number 1 key (this key has I/O written above it in green).
4. When the screen changes, Send to HP 48 will be highlighted. Press the white corresponding key for OK.
5. When the screen comes up, press the white corresponding key to CHOOS.
6. Using the up and down arrows highlight RDS then press the white corresponding key to CHK. There is now a check mark beside RDS. Press the white corresponding key for OK.
7. The screen should change and RDS should be inside a blue bar.
8. Turn the target HP on.
9. Press the green right shift key then the TIC key (this key has HOME written above it in green) this will take you to the {HOME} directory.
10. Press the green right shift key then the number 1 key.
11. When the screen changes, using the up and down arrows scroll down one time and highlight Get from HP 48.
12. With RDS inside the blue highlighted bar on the source HP and Get from HP 48 highlighted on the target HP turn these with the raised triangle (located above the Hewlett Packard logo) facing each other about 1 inch apart.
13. Press, at the same time, the white key that corresponds with SEND on the source HP and the white corresponding key for OK on the target HP.
14. You may have to move one or both calculators slightly to make them communicate.
15. Once the transfer is complete, the source HP will return to the Send to HP screen.
16. Press the NXT key ( top right).
17. Press the CANCEL key to take you back to the {HOME} directory.
18. When the target HP is through transferring, it will go back to the {HOME} directory.
19. RDS should be in the lower left corner of the screen.
